One of the few operators permitted to use blue in the first years of the NBC. This eventually gave way to poppy red, but blue reappeared in the less restricted 1980s.

Welcome
Thank you for visiting my National Bus Company gallery. The images depict vehicles painted in NBC colours of poppy red, leaf green and blue, coaches in national white and National Holidays. In the mid-1980s liveries were improved greatly with the introduction of 'stripey' local coach and National Express colours. At the same time, a few of the larger companies were being reduced in size by the formation of new smaller operators, leading up to privatisation, some of which will be included in this gallery
I hope you find the collections interesting. This is a new gallery with many more photos to come. Keep checking for the latest additions.
